Rosemount 3107 / 3108 Ultrasonic Level and Flow
The Rosemount 3107 / 3108 Ultrasonic Level and Flow Transmitters are based on ultrasonic technology. Ultrasonic pulse signals are transmitted and reflected from the liquid surface. The transmitter ‘listens' for reflected signals (echoes) and measures the time-delay between transmitting and receiving. The distance to the liquid surface is automatically calculated using the computed time-delay. The level measurement (Bottom Reference minus Distance) is sent through the 4–20 mA and HART output.
The 3107 has an integrated sensor for automatically compensating the Distance for temperature effects.
The 3108 has a factory fitted remote temperature sensor to continuously measure the air temperature around the transmitter. It then computes the speed of sound in air, automatically compensating Distance for temperature effects.
Rosemount 3051L Liquid Level Transmitter
The Rosemount 3051L liquid level transmitter provides precision level and specific gravity measurement for a wide variety of tank configurations. Based on proven capacitance cell technology, the Rosemount 3051L liquid level transmitter is designed for applications requiring the highest levels of accuracy and performance, such as inventory control, material balance, and head box.
With many diaphragm and flange options to fit all process and installation needs, the Rosemount 3051L liquid level transmitter is engineered to be the perfect fit for nearly any application. It offers accuracy up to 0.075% of span and 100:1 rangeability. A welded fill fluid system provides best-in-class system reliability. A wide range of options and hazardous area approvals are also available. Rosemount 5400 Series Level Transmitter
The Rosemount 5400 Series level transmitter is a reliable 2-wire radar level transmitter for liquids and slurries. Designed for outstanding performance in a wide range of applications and process conditions, it measures level directly and is unaffected by most fluid property changes, including temperature, pressure, vapor gas mixture, density, turbulence, bubbling / boiling, dielectric, pH, viscosity, or crystallization.
The Rosemount 5400 Series level transmitter features an innovative design that delivers best-in-class performance. The non-contact design makes it virtually unaffected by process conditions while no moving parts means little or no maintenance. In addition, this level transmitter incorporates advanced signal processing and smart echo tracking features resulting in an accuracy of ±0.1 inch (±3 mm) with Model 5402 and ±0.4 in. (±10 mm) for Model 5401 for measurements up to 115 feet.

Rosemount 5300 Series Level Transmitter
The Rosemount 5300 Series level transmitter is a premium 2-wire guided wave radar for challenging level and interface measurements on liquids, slurries and solids.
This level transmitter is based on the Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) technology. Low power nano-second microwave pulses are guided down a probe submerged in the process media. When a radar pulse reaches a media with a different dielectric constant, part of the energy is reflected to the transmitter. The time difference between the transmitted and the reflected pulse is converted into a distance from which the total level or interface level is calculated.
