Rosemount Analytical Model 396P / 396PVP TUpH pH/ORP Sensors

The Rosemount Analytical Model 396P / 396PVP TUpH pH/ORP Sensors are SMART enabled (-01). SMART preamplifier option is the standard option with the 396P. In addition, the 396P features an optional integral hermetically sealed preamplifier with 25 ft cable lengths. The 396P is housed in a molded reinforced polypropylene body with 1 in. MNPT threads suitable for insertion, submersion or flow through installation. The sensor includes a general purpose pH electrode or a platinum ORP electrode, a reference junction and a solution ground. The 396P comes standard with a recessed electrode; an optional slotted tip is also available. Automatic temperature compensation, Pt 100 or 3K Balco, is standard with the 396P.

The 396PVP Sensor has similar features to the 396P. The 396PVP is now SMART enabled (-70). SMART is the standard preamplifier option. The 396PVP is offered with the Variopol (VP) connector, that uses a mating VP cable (purchased separately). A remote preamplifier must be used if non-SMART option is selected.

Rosemount Analytical 499 Series Dissolved Oxygen/Ozone/Chlorine Sensors

Rosemount Analytical 499 series dissolved oxygen, ozone, and chlorine sensors work with Rosemount Analytical analyzers to provide high accuracy dissolved oxygen, dissolved ozone and chlorine readings. With a wide range and numerous mounting options, 499 series sensors are excellent choices for a wide range of applications.

The 499 series are membrane-covered amperometric sensors. Maintenance and calibration is fast and easy with no special tools required. Because the rate of diffusion of oxygen through the membrane depends on temperature, an integral Pt100 RTD measures the temperature to compensate for membrane permeability. Response to pressure changes has also been minimized by incorporating a system which balances pressure inside the sensor with sample pressure. The Model 499 sensor is available with a Variopol (VP) water-tight connector.

Rosemount Analytical Model 3900 pH/ORP Sensor

The Rosemount Analytical 3900 and 3900VP General purpose pH/ORP sensor models are provided with a double junction reference, which protects the reference element from poisoning ions – such as ammonia, chlorine, cyanides, and sulfides – in the process. The double junction reference aids in the sensor's resistance to harsh environments and helps prolong sensor life. Both models are made with porous Teflon® junction positioned near the pH/ORP-sensitive membrane.

Rosemount Analytical RDO Dissolved Oxygen Sensor

The Rosemount Analytical RDO sensor is for use in wastewater aeration basins and ponds. The sensor uses the fluorescence quenching method so it does not require a flowing sample and is more resistant to fouling than polarographic sensors, an important advantage in wastewater where coating is a common problem. Less sensitivity to fouling means less need for cleaning and reduced operating costs.

Rosemount Analytical Model 389 pH/ORP Sensor

The Rosemount Analytical models 389 and 389VP are insertion style pH/ORP sensors with integral preamp. These sensors are compatible with nearly all Rosemount Analytical pH/ORP analyzers. Both models are combination sensors (pH, reference, and temperature within sensor body) and measure pH or ORP (Oxidation/Reduction Potential) of aqueous solutions in pipelines, open tanks, or ponds. Models 389 and 389VP are suitable for virtually all applications and are compatible with Rosemount Analytical and other manufacturers' instruments.

The Rosemount Analytical models 389 and 389VP are housed in a molded Tefzel body with Viton o-rings, making each sensor virtually indestructible and chemically resistant. The simplified construction, designed with user convenience in mind does not require electrolyte replenishment or any high maintenance troubleshooting procedures.

Rosemount Analytical Model 385+ pH / ORP Sensor

The Model 385+ Sensor measures the pH or ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) of aqueous solutions in pipelines, open tanks, or ponds. It is suitable for applications where a low cost, industrial, disposable sensor is required. The combination electrode features a peripheral ceramic junction. The triple junction reference cell provides longer life in processes containing sugar, ammonia, chlorides, sulfides or other poisoning ions. The Model 385+ body is constructed of molded, chemically resistant Tefzel in two standard body versions.

The retraction version is housed in a titanium tube, with a plug-in style surface mount preamplifier in a weatherproof junction box. It is designed for use with a standard 1-1/2 in. ball valve assembly for process mounting where a separate sample stream is difficult or impossible to provide. The entire installation process is accomplished without line depressurization and minimal process fluid loss. Following sensor removal from the ball valve, maintenance and replacement is easy.

Rosemount Analytical Bx438 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor

The Rosemount Analytical Bx438 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor is designed to monitor trace levels of dissolved oxygen in beer and other carbonated beverages. The Bx438 sensor utilizes a robust membrane, which increases the life of the membrane.

The design for the membrane is the key to achieving high performance. The Model Bx438 uses a proprietary membrane material. This thick, steel-meshedreinforced, double layer membrane enables the sensor to withstand high pressures and temperatures while maintaining high diffusion rates, resulting in stable outputs and fast response times.

Rosemount Analytical Model 381 pH / ORP Sensor

The Rosemount Analytical Model 381+ Sensor measures the pH or the Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) of aqueous solutions in pipelines, open tanks, or ponds. The sensor is suitable for use in most indus trial applications, including water and waste treatment plants.

The sensor is housed in a molded PES body and has two O-ring seals with breach lock threads that secure the PES cover. This provides a waterproof union for long operating life and easy removal for routine maintenance.
